Corong Corong Beach

 

El Nido is subdivided into eighteen barangays. Corong Corong is one of them. Located at 1,5 km from Población (town proper), Coron Corong go along a wide white sandy beach and a lush jungle. Much more quiet that El Nido, Corong Corong faces Bacuit bay and its islands and islets.

A short 10 minute ride south of El Nido town proper, Corong-Corong is a quiet hideaway featuring a wide, lazy spread of beach surrounded by tall coconut trees and calm, shallow waters.

 

How to go there?

Corong Corong is crossed by the main road coming from Puerto Princesa. There are tricycles regularly ply the route. From town to Mahogany Resort, it is Php 10 per pax. To go to Merimengmeng beach (known as Las Cabanas)for Php 150 but there are some who would accept Php 100.

This prices are for shared fare and the driver may pick up and drop passengers. At night, the trip is charged Php 50.
